On a college campus there are plenty of ways to get
distracted from your work. There are plenty of parties and plenty friends to
draw you away from your work. But when it is finally time to do your work it
can be hard. You may be in work mode but your friends want to slack off. But where
could one go? Dorms?? That would be hard someone may think. But in most dorms
there is a computer lab and in the computer lab you have to be quiet. It is on
your basement level of your dorm building.(for example my on the basement of chase) A computer lab is a great place to
study because you have to stay quiet and the people next to you have to do
work. You have to speak quietly and if you want to listen to music you have to
listen to it quietly. Also there is a printer there to print your work after
you are done. Not a lot of people know there is a computer lab in their dorm
and if they do most give up after they can’t find it. So now it’s like your own
little get away and this is the last place your friends will look. Just try and
give your lab a chance and you will be impressed. Just remember not to tell
everyone because, then that will be the new party room.
